After that I went to the Ranch Bowl in Ohama, NE April 2005 and then The House of Bricks in Des Moines, IA November 2005. I had a blast each time and met Hank III after each concert. Des Moines, Iowa is my local region and to attend a Hank III/Assjack show is top of my list. From watching III's expresions and in your face attitude during the first set to jumping in the mosh pit and laughing my ass off, what more could a fan ask for!! But about the metal: you ought not to put down what you don't understand--the metal set's phenomenal if you're into metal. Hank can play a mean guitar. Sounds like you just enjoy the more mellower stuff which is cool. But a Hank III show is like a real good roll in the sack--ya can't stop just when it's getting hot and heavy--gotta climax or you go home unfulfilled.
