Is this a GPL project ? I would like to set up something like this for my community before it is needed. I am not great at it, but I am familiar with Rails. The sasafelist.org site all the links point to is now a porn site !!

Excellent stuff – I am a better person today because I gave some of my own time to the shelters and to the people displaced by Katrina and Rita. I am also proud that I hired Brandon and grateful to all those mentioned here, as well as the many other selfless people that helped.

Hey Cory. Y’all did an amazing thing there. One thing I definitely miss about The Rack is all of the people. Everyone loves what they do and cares about the people around them. As wonderful as Rails is (believe me, I’m a big evangelist) you guys would probably have knocked it out in any language with any framework. It’s all about loving what you’re doing. That’s the main reason all of you and Rackspace have been so successful. I hope this gets up on the rails blog and others, too. Everyone who writes software needs to read it. Cheers to you and all of the safe list guys. You all changed a lot of lives.
